Eastern Zonal Men’s Congress

A thousand Salvationists from the eastern region of Zimbabwe gathered at the Marondera Show Grounds for their zonal men’s fellowship congress. Representing Harare Eastern, Harare West, Harare Central, Greater Harare, Murehwa and Manicaland, Salvationists braved the cold Marondera temperatures to participate in teaching sessions, worship and fellowship.

Eastern Men’s Fellowship Congress

Exploring the territorial theme, Salvationists were encouraged to be men “set apart for the mission.” Lt-Colonel Peter Dali, Chief Secretary, challenged the men to be spiritual leaders of their families, church and community. “You can’t show the way unless you know the way,” he said. “You need to be men of prayer, men of power and men of praise.” Continue reading ‘Eastern Zonal Men’s Congress’
